Join our team as an HVAC Comfort Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers. We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual with a strong technical background in HVAC systems. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. Comfort Solutions has continuous training, we treat our techs with respect and integrity. We are a family owned company, so we understand how important it is to have a flexible schedule.

We do not require our techs to be salespeople. We are here to help and with the best people possible.

Responsibilities

1. Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems, according to specifications and building codes.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
4. Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and refrigerant lines.
5. Perform HVAC system upgrades and retrofits to improve energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
6. Conduct performance tests and safety inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential hazards or deficiencies.
7. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment inventory.
8. Provide timely and courteous communication with customers regarding service appointments, repair options, and pricing.
9. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
10. Stay updated on industry developments, technology advancements, and manufacturer guidelines through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in residential and/or commercial settings.
3. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and refrigeration units.
4. Strong understanding of electrical circuits, refrigeration principles, and HVAC controls.
5. EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants required.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
8. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
9. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
10. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for helping people.  A strong understanding of HVAC systems is not required but not ignored. As an HVAC Comfort Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting and presenting our HVAC products and services to residential customers.

Responsibilities

1. Generate leads through various channels, networking, networking events, Trade shows, referrals, and digital marketing efforts.
2. Conduct thorough assessments of customers’ HVAC needs and provide tailored solutions.
3. Present and demonstrate our HVAC products and services effectively to potential customers.
4. Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals.
5. Follow up with leads and maintain ongoing communication with prospects throughout the process.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
7. Meet or exceed sales targets and goals on a consistent basis.
8. Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in HVAC sales or a related field is great but not required.
2. Be able to take a 2-week rigorous training program.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fun and fast-paced environment.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
8. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
